December 10th, 2010 — Parts Review
I wanted something to go with my RS Factory Stage front tow hook, and this beauty made by ClubRoadster sponsor RyokuRob was the object of my desire.

I acquired a new steering wheel for my collection the other week. But this post is not about that. I’ll have a post dedicated to that beauty soon. This post is about the wild idea I had when trying to figure out storage for my steering wheel collection.
See, I’d been using a shelf in the garage. The wheels were all protected in their original Momo and Nardi boxes, but they were still out in the garage. Not the best place for such beautiful objects. And definitely not where I wanted to store my new M2 steering wheel. It is such a piece of art.
And that’s when the idea hit me. Art. It deserves to hang on the wall.

I don’t manage to get out to the track to race around very often. And it’s even less often that there are guys with cameras. So I’m pretty happy to be able to make this blog post.

I picked up and installed a pair of these FM shock spacers a while ago. Didn’t get around to posting about it till a couple of months later. Perhaps they’re not as exciting to me as a Japanese tail light panel or new turbo parts. Or maybe I’m sad that I’m admitting defeat and raising Sharka slightly. For whatever the reason, I’ve been putting off this blog post.
This is no fault of the shock spacers themselves. They work GREAT.

It hasn’t quite been two months since painting (I was supposed to wait at least that long before applying vinyl), but I could not wait to install these tail lights any longer. Plus, the nice weather is due to go away soon in favor of winter. So. Without further delay, I present Sharka’s New Ass!

That’s the Beatrush Radiator Cooling Panel. I’ve wanted one for a while, but have never gotten around to buying it. So, my darling wife got me one for my birthday. WOO! I’m a lucky guy…
October 21st, 2010 — Turbo
So. There I was racing around the local track. My buddy Ben had it to himself for an hour on a Saturday and had invited me and my wife to come along. Sharka’s inaugural turbo track day. Woo! Turbo + lots of open race track!
Then I started to smell something burning…

My Koyo radiator is doing great with my spiffy new turbo. Sharka is staying pretty cool. Except for at highway speeds. When cruising around on the freeways at 75 mph, the coolant temps seem to hover in the 200-205 *F range. That… bothers me….
October 14th, 2010 — Exterior, Parts Review
A short parts review for a rather rare tow hook from RS Factory Stage. There’s not much to be said about a small piece of machined aluminum, but I’ll do my best…
