A while back, I simplified Sharka’s bodywork. No more side stripes, no more air splitter. It felt like the right thing to do in order to move forward. Taking a step back, you know? It’s sometimes good and helps bring a fresh perspective.
And now it’s time to go forward.

My little girl got to ride in Sharka for the first time. And SHE LOVED IT!!!

I’ve been thinking about this post for a while. Since finishing up with the NA6 interior really. Sharka has just felt so… good. Right. Perfect. Everything is exactly how I want it.

Cone Killer

This past October, I had the chance to attend a two day autocross event. I’m embarrassed to say that it was my first time aiming my bumper at cones in about four years. That means it was my first event with a big hair drier bolted to the side of my engine. You know, the one that’s been there for over two years.
Oh well, better late than never.

Eclipse Cruise

My hometown of Albuquerque was apparently the premier place to watch the May 2012 annular eclipse. The path of maximum coverage passed right through the city and full coverage (97%) was set to happen very near the horizon. Photographers came from all over the country to catch it.
So yeah, of course I wanted to shoot my car under this sky.
