Christmas Gifts

I’ve not done a toy post on the blog here for ages. Thought it was about time. And the excellent new recruits to the revlimiter Hot Wheels Army demanded it.

The above cars are a very kind Christmas gift from my buddy Randy, who runs the MazdaRoadster forum. Yes, Christmas. And no, I’m not slacking. These cars were shipped about a week before Christmas 2018 and arrived last night, January 24th, 2019. I thought they’d been stolen from my mail or something, but these and a few other missing packages showed together.

And these were SO worth the wait.

While I’m not the most obsessed fan ever, I *really* dig Mooneyes. Specifically the little toy cars that manage to get their yellow and black livery painted on. I’ve been slowly building up a shelf worth in one of my Hot Wheels cases for the past year.

Randy asked what I was collecting and hunting for currently and I mentioned the Mooneyes cars. He said to expect something for under the tree. =)

Speaking of, I need a few more of these cases. I have wall space for 3 more. I think the Moon cars may need two rows of their own once I get up the nerve to open the trucks and that Jeep drag car.
