Filmed in Technicolor
I woke up around 5am ready to go. No alarm clock. No trace of sleepiness remained. Nothing but a plan in my head. That plan involved driving around the downtown alleys and taking pics of my new Star Sharks.
By myself.

Creeping into the alleyways.
I’ll cut to the chase. Nothing bad happened. I took a bunch of photos and had a great time. No nails in the tires. No bums hassled me. No muggings. Just good times.
Enjoy the pix!

I love that you did this alone and at 5am. Totally something I would do… while my wife laughs and thinks I’m crazy! Looks so good!
I was quite pleased to not be hassled by anyone. Well… office workers started bothering me around 7, but it was time for me to go to work then anyway.
Trying to figure out how to not just say ‘wow’ 100 times in this post. It’s all that I can hear in my head though. WOW.
Thank you, my friend. 🙂
Loving the star sharks!
Have the rear guards buckled at the crease-line? 🙁
I admit, I’ve googled and I can’t figure out for the life of me what you mean. What is a rear guard? And what crease line?
Nothing is any different in the way of the bodywork than before.
Guard is what is called a “fender” in the USA.
Great photos, as always. Sharka continues to inspire me to work on my NA.
I must admit I prefer your RPF1s for both style and function, but the Star Sharks really emphasize the retro look you seem to enjoy.
Also, what size are these tires?
195/60/14s. They’ll be replaced soon with something a little less balloony and a little more sticky.
you are killing it man!! I just all the photos!!!
What kind of camera do you use, Sharka?
I’ve got a D300 and an F3 that I use to shoot most of my stuff. But they don’t really matter that much. The lenses I use make the magic.
