The stuff dreams are made of.
So… teaser posts aren’t really my thing. Not my style. I like to write long, flowing prose woven around 30+ photos on a single topic. Sometimes that topic will take up 3 or 4 long posts.
But I’m making an exception for this. This is Sharka’s next stage.
Sharks
That’s right. Sharks. SSR Star Sharks. My favorite wheel of all time. And they’re in my garage.
I’ll have a full blog post soon. I had hoped to make it today. But my new wheels decided they really REALLY liked my fenders and wanted to get to know them a bit better. I need to do a little work on those fenders before I can drive more than 5 feet.
I’ll have plenty of pix soon. Very very soon.

I hope these have no stretch/poke/camber, or else you’ll have some ‘splainin’ to do Adam!
You’ll have to wait and see. 😉
From the teaser pics it does not look like there is any stretch on tires.
I am excited to see what these look like on Sharka.
You are correct sir. There’s no stretch. The tires aren’t gonna stay on there (just some Federal all-seasons for temporary) but I’m not one for tire stretch.
And there MIGHT be some small flares in my future…
Hopefully the flares aren’t needed. Always liked that Sharka’s body is relatively stock.
If I do indeed need flares, they’ll be very small ones. Remember Ric’s (kfc/typesticky) very small flares on his black NA? Something like that. I always liked those. Very OEMish.
But I think a fender pull will be all it takes.
Nice! Can’t wait to see them installed.
So much awesome. The Sharks are finally home.
Never to leave!
Hi Adam, congratulation, the right wheel for th right man
I’m extremely proud to finally join the club. Yours has been an inspiration to me.
Gorgeous. Sharka must be looking forward to his new shoes.
Looks amazing! One of my favorite wheels of all time as well, can’t wait to see them mounted on the car. That lip looks real good too 🙂
still no update?!?? youre killin me
How do you think I feel? I’m waiting for a fender roller to arrive via the slowest shipping ever, despite having paid for fast shipping.
ahhhh!! i cant imagin how you feel. haha sorry, dude. no one around there rolls fenders locally?
I am with you I keep coming here a couple times a day and keep hitting F5
It’ll be a new post. Not to worry. And it’ll be this weekend. I got my fender roller somewhat later yesterday evening and have about 4-6 hours of fender work before the jack stands come out again.
It’s KILLING me to not have these on yet.
Would be nice with some small Tuckin99 Flares! Looks great though!! Congrats!
awesome!!!
