Hot Rod. He lives up to his name.
I picked up the latest Transformer from the Masterpiece line this past weekend, MP-09 Rodimus Prime. Roddy is the first 4-mode Transformer…. ever? Certainly in the Masterpiece line. He transforms into Hot Rod, both car and robot modes, and Rodimus Prime, also in both car and robot modes.
And he’s so damn pretty. In EVERY mode!

I'm sure there's a hoverboard on the passenger seat.

Rodimus Prime Vehicle Mode
I believe I mentioned four modes above? Hot Rod’s car mode was the driving force behind me getting this toy. He’s just perfect! Wedge shaped and 100% screen accurate. But the Space Winnebago mode of Rodimus Prime is also pretty snazzy. See for yourself.

Till all are one!
There will be more Miata stuff later. For now, I’ll be playing with my Winne’ and watching TFTM for the hundredth time.

Believe it or not, TFTM was the first DVD I ever owned!
WHOA!!! Nice. Mine was 5th Element and Terminator 2. heh.
I think I’ve bought TFTM 4 times now. Twice on VHS and twice on DVD. I counted 5 and had to backspace it after remembering that the 25th anniversary DVD came with two versions of the flick.
Hey this is nice photographic manipulation. You are a real artist.
Only one prob the road texture is too big and detracts from the realism.
Yup. That road texture is the one thing you can never really fix. Sand doesn’t work. Photoshopping doesn’t work very well. Just about the only thing you can do is try to shoot on concrete and hope the rest of the scene looks real.
Oh well.![🙂](https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/15.0.3/svg/1f642.svg)
