Just a single shot for this blog post. I was out with my buddy Dave shooting stars behind the volcanoes. Most of my star shots were crappy, but I *did* get this great panorama of Beep, my Mazda3. Yeah, the car’s name is Beep. I name my cars.
6 exposures. I used my smallest tripod on the lowest setting, about 15 inches above the ground. 15 seconds each exposure, 50mm f/1.2 at f/2.8. I stitched these in Photoshop with the reposition-only algorithm. It came out pretty decent! I’m usually awful at shooting panoramas.
If you like this shot, go check out my series of Beep at the Drive-In. I dig the Mazda3 at this angle. I look forward to shooting more of Beep out doing stuff with me.
