Happy New Year fellow Roadster enthusiasts! Hope your 2012 is off to a good start. And if it’s not, here’s something to make it a little better.
Want some free gauges?
revlimiter.net is teaming up with MazdaRoadster.net to get your Miata some goodies for the new year. Yes, goodies. As in more than one!
The Prizes
2nd prize: A revlimiter.net spotlight feature on your car! You will have to provide some photos of course. And be willing to answer a few short interview-type questions about your Roadster life. In exchange, you’ll have your car up in lights on this blog, in front of the eyes of ~12,000 unique monthly visitors (according to my last analytics records).
1st prize: Vent Rings! Any style of vent ring that my store sells. And if the winner happens to already have some vent rings on their ride, I’ll give you $40 worth of store credit.
Grand prize: A set of revlimiter Gauges!!! Any style that I offer. NA or NB. Or, if you’ve already got some gauges that you like, I’ll give you $100 worth of store credit. If you’d like to use that credit to create a completely custom set of gauges, that would work too. You’d get something completely unique for just about the same price as an off-the-shelf gauge set.
The Rules
You can have TWO chances to win. Because just having one chance is kinda boring. Why not two?
To qualify for your first chance to win: Post a reply in my sponsor section of MazdaRoadster.net. There’s a thread in there with a title very similar to this blog post. In that thread, I’d like you to tell me which of my gauge styles you like the best. Rossa, Zero, F1, etc. Just post the name of the gauge set you like the most.
To qualify for your SECOND chance to win: Reply to this blog post. In that reply, enter your MazdaRoadster.net username. That’s it! However, you have to complete the First-Chance-To-Win steps before you can earn that 2nd chance.
The Details
1: The contest runs from today (January 1st, 2012) for half a month (ending on January 15th, 2012).
2: The contest is open to anyone! If you live in far off regions that involve me having to pay a lot of shipping charges, that’s okay. I’ll pay them.
3: On January 15th, I’ll close this contest and assign numbers to each person who’s entered. I’ll put that into a random number generator and get the 3 winners. 1st number will be the grand prize. 2nd number will get 1st prize, 3rd number will get 2nd prize.
4: The winners will be contacted via the PM system on MazdaRoadster.net. This is important. You’ll not be getting an email from me, but rather a private message via the forum. So, you’ll have to keep track of the new MR forum, at least for the next 2 weeks.
5: Winners have 3 days to reply to me with their address and so forth. If 3 days pass, another name will be drawn for whatever prize(s) remain unclaimed.
6: umm…. no. I don’t think I need a #6. I think that covers it.
That’s it! Happy New Year!!!
Addendum!
If you decide you want to buy a set of gauges (during the course of the contest), yet still want to participate in the contest, go right ahead! Put your name in. If you win, I’ll refund your gauge payment. Or the $40 1st prize amount. Or some other compensation that we figure out through email.
It’s easy to be flexible with stuff like this when you’re a one man business.
And at the time of this writing, there’s over 40 entries. That’s after less than 48 hours of contest. Thanks everyone!!!

Thank you so much revlimiter!
Revlimiter, Just signed up on MazdaRoadster.net and I’m blown away by your Rossa style gauges. Looking forward to learning more. I think a little Ferrari look would be a welcome improvement to my Italia bodied 90 Miata with 1.8 engine. Thanks for sharing your products and experience.
