Retro Window Switches – Batch #3
November 6th, 2011 | revlimiter.net, The Store
The 3rd Batch
They’re back! This time I’ve got 9 window switches all made up. Want one?
These will go for $150 each + $50 refundable core charge + actual UPS shipping charges. All of this in USD. I collect the core charge first and get your shipping address. Then I collect a second payment for the $150 plus your shipping charge. This works very well! When I get your stock switch back in the mail, I just hit the refund button on that $50 charge and don’t have to worry about partial refunds and partial Paypal fees.
If you’d like one of these switches, go to my order form and select the switch option. Then the magic will happen.
And now for some very serious product photos. Very professional and serious photos. (No toys are included with your switch purchase.)

Harriet commands you to buy. She’s 17 days old and wants a pony.
Harriet has refined taste.
Are you crazy ? it’s expansive !!
With a good hands, I can make them alone.
I would love for people to make switches themselves. I show you exactly how to do that here. https://revlimiter.net/blog/2011/01/custom-retro-electric-window-switches/
As for the price, I make about $50 profit per window switch after the parts cost. I use the best version of every component. I guess I could use cheap parts, but that’s now how I do things. It takes me just under 5 hours to build one of them, so that $50 gives me about $10 per hour. Which… isn’t really that great. I build these more because I like to than to make money at it.
I understand you. When i’ll finish my cockpit, I’ll start working on those switches. At least, you gave me an idea (-:

Do you know if the switches will work with the Nakamae console?
Yes! I have to do a few small modifications, but they do indeed work. There’s at least 2 guys out there with my switches and the Nakamae console.
