Sharka on the Speedhunters front page
Speedhunters is having a Reader Rides thing all this month (Feb 2010). It’s a sort of guest blog thing. You send in photos of your car and write a blog post for Speedhunters. They announced this around January 15th.
I knew what I had to do.
I dug through my pix, tried to arrange them in a logical flow, and spent about 2 hours writing up Sharka’s story. I zipped up the whole bundle and fired off the email. I crossed my fingers.
Sharka was featured on the first day!!!
Go check out the article! I’m way thrilled. Beyond thrilled. I’m all smiles. And THAT is an accomplishment for a monday evening. =)
THANKS SPEEDHUNTERS!!!!!!!!

Hey Adam.. I realize your engine is generally flawless.. and that you don’t even have a 1.6 in your miata. Regardless of that, have you ever had an idle issue with Sharka? I have a 1.6.. idling anywhere from 900 to 2000. any advice would be appreciated.
I’d look at either a vacuum leak or a problem with the IAC on the throttle body. Um…. or on the intake manifold? Do 1.6s have that on the manifold? Either way, those can be culprits.
One of the best things about the Link: no more idle problems.
Really cool feature this well done
