Are you gonna go my way? (click to enlarge)
There was one spot that I didn’t visit in my Breaking Bad tribute – the pick up spot. The place where you get picked up after calling the vacuum cleaner repair dude. The place where you get a new life.
After the series finale, I knew I had to come here. I had unfinished work.

As a kid, I rode past this place every Saturday on my way to run errands with my dad. I always wondered what it was. Nothing else like it exists in Albuquerque. It always had an air of mystery to my young brain. That air remained. When I saw it on Breaking Bad, it seemed like a natural choice. A perfect spot to wait for a new life to find you.

I absolutely loved your photo tour, and this pretty much completes it indeed!
I don’t know if the car wash is really in use, but maybe you can take a shot of Sharka inside? Would really love to see that, too.
Greatly admire your work, keep it up!
Sadly, Sharka is too low for the car wash. He doesn’t look that low in photos, especially compared to the truly slammed cars, but there’s not enough clearance for the car wash.
I really wish I could do it though.
Great pics! Where is this placed located? I simply love it. Thanks!
It’s off Juan Tabo and Eubank. Follow Juan Tabo east and then south. It’s on the east side of the road. Albuquerque, of course.
It’s a really neat place. Lots of childhood memories.
No half measures.
