The Buttplate measures about 4" wide by 1" tall (about 102mm x 25mm). The size reflects the overall outer diameter of the badge,
not the inner logo size. It's solid diecast metal.

Every Buttplate is flawed. Each badge carrier (the metal part) has a casting imperfection in the finish above and below about 1/4 way along the bezel.
The flaws are pretty minor, but are present. If you demand perfection for your concourse quality car, these may not be the part for you. The price
reflects this imperfection.

Each Buttplate ships with a strip or two of 3M 20 lb mounting tape. It's extremely strong. You can almost pick up the whole car with the stuff!
(But seriously, you need to be SURE of the location before you stick the crazy 20 lb tape on your car.)
Installed Photos:

A Buttplate installed on Sharka's port side under the reverse light. It fills the space nicely.

The casting flaw is very hard to see once installed.

About the Ordering Process
Every item in this store is hand-crafted, made one set at a time. Everything is made to your specs. There's no mass production.
Because of this, there might be a short delay between placing your order and shipping. Badges usually take a couple days to
make and require 24 hours to cure before I can pack and ship.
If there's a long wait, I'll contact you via email to inform you of any delays.
California Residents:
California requires the following notice: Badges may contain vinyl and mercury, chemicals known to the State of California to
cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.
FAQ
Q: Can I have matching center cap inserts made?!?!
A: Yes! Due to the different sizes that center caps come in, each order would be custom. I'll request measurements in mm to 2 decimal places.
You also must actually have center caps on hand. I cannot make the plastic thing (the actual center cap) that fits your wheel. Go to
the Center Cap page to read more and place an order.
Q: Can I have a matching keychain made?
A: Sure! Keychains can be seen on the
revlimiter Keychain Page.
Q: Why does it cost more to change one of the colors?
A: I keep all of the standard colors in stock. To make a single badge with different colors, that requires me to make a whole
batch of them up. Making a whole batch up requires time. And I don't have a whole lot of free time lately. I'm sorry, but I have
to charge extra for color changes.
Q: Can I order a matching horn button from you?!??
A: Yes!!! Go to the
Horn Button page to see the designs.
Q: Can I order one of the special keychain designs (a tach, rainbow kitty, etc)?
A: Sure! The badges use solvent-printed vinyl and can have small detail prints made easily. Just hit the custom order form.
