Ode to a Bikini Top

I love my hardtop. I mean seriously. It’s my hardtop. I don’t call it “Sharka’s hardtop” but rather “mine”. It transforms the Miata from a floppy noodle into a real car. It offers a barrier against skin cancer and the weather. It looks gorgeous.
And then I got the bikini top.

This is the 2nd helmet I’ve ever owned. I’ve suffered along with the same uncomfortable bargain rack KBC helmet for all of my racing life. It finally expired, so I treated myself to something a bit nicer.

Rear Air Dam Restoration

The Mazda factory rear air dam for the Miata is a bit of a rare part. It was discontinued around 2002. I was fortunate enough to acquire one a few years back. A factory one, not a copy. I remember the day well. I held it in my hands. I admired it. And then I cut it in half so it would fit my trailer hitch.
