A company called KG Works in Japan made this vintage Mazda logo gift set a few years ago. I always wanted it. I slowly collected a few pieces, but could never bring myself to buy the whole set. Then the set was discontinued and became crazy rare. I never expected to own all of it. Well… one thing led to another, I came across a set, and the magic happened. I got a new, unused and UNOPENED set.
So, how to review and show off this set? I couldn’t think of a better way of showing rare Japanese car parts than to employ my rare Japanese toys for the job. Click the thumbnails below and join me in the magic.
And now for a mini-review in the middle of my review, the Royal Clover Pole Position key. Max from Rev9 sent me this key as a gift with my last order. And…. man, it’s just awesome. The feel of it as you twist the ignition is just…. hard to describe. But it’s perfect. This is Sharka’s new key. I won’t be using the stock rubber-covered one any longer. Thanks Max!!!!
Back to the KG Works stuff.
Yeah, I’m a happy car nerd. Hope you enjoyed the shots.
i have that key! i really would like to find the key chain tho
Search ebay for “vintage mazda” and you’ll find the leather one on the 2nd page. 6 for sale, 15 bucks. I cut the little logo off the leather after posting this and have it on my keychain right now.
