I did tape the leather up with blue tape on the edges. But I was just really careful. It also peels back quite nice from the spokes to allow you to get the bit on the edges. I was just really careful and took my time. hahaha!

It wasn't difficult to polish off all that silver paint, just time consuming. I did a dremel wire brush wheel to remove the paint and then sanded up to 1000 grit. Then back to the dremel with a polishing tip to go the rest of the way. It took maybe 2 hours total? Yes, your LE would like one. I can tell. Thanks!!!
